

I also enjoyed the characters, especially the dynamic with the sister and the brother. None of it feels filler, all moves at a nice speed, and the fights and such are brutal enough but also pretty flashy. So what I really enjoyed was the fact this is really quick paced.

Sure, our main hero gets to witness his whole family murdered and now has to take care of his sister who is now a demon, while learning to become a warrior, a demon slayer, and trying his best to survive.

Similar to when I first began reading Yu Yu Hakusho or Hunter x Hunter, Demon Slayer gives you some fucked up situations but not overly brooding, dark, or moody. However, this creator obviously loves the 90's, and channels a very 90's manga/anime feel. With a generic name like Demon Slayer I expected the worst.
